Here are some friends with simlar question as we.And I have this question for many days,anyone help us?

they get alive money and put his/her head in under the table and it is held by screws into his head..they saw off the top of his head, they pull the skull off and you eat it warm, fresh brains...not bad at all..tastes better than liver...
I was told dag, and cats does taste like chicken...had different kinds of Oriental foods and I thought it was chicken, but must of been either cat or dag..
good stuff..NO not in USA...
if you are offered food in some ones home and you have not idea what it is, but it tastes great, you compliment the host and hostess...don't you...so did I...not difference...

....been to a Vietnamese restaurant lately? chinese, thais, and vietnamese eat all of the animals and more so if you take your dog to any of these countries and it goes missing it could end up as todays special at a resteraunt111 beware!!!!!!

In some countries they might be, but I can tell you this much. . .while other road kill (racoons, opposums, rabbits, squirrels) are eaten by vultures and such, dogs and cats are not! They sit for weeks and decompose without being eaten! I'd say they might be toxic - probably due to what we feed them!

i guess in some cultures they do eat this sort of thing but me i could never do it That's exactly the point why eating dogs is banned in many countries.

They are all edible, but I don't want to try! I can't imagine having my cat sleeping with me one day and eating her the next! I've joked that I would eat my brother in laws dog, but I like him too much too.

Almost everything alive is edible with the proper preparation. However culture and religious beliefs means that many foodstuffs are not eaten. For instance, on Mainland Europe, there are those who regularly eat horse and donkey meat. In the UK, while they have no problem with their dogs or cats eating horse, they would never consider it. It is a sweet meat, delicious. Hindus, would never eat Beef, it is a sacred animal, but just about everyone else will. Muslims and Jews would not think of eating Pork, but Locusts and Grasshoppers are both Halal and Kosher, but it is doubtful that you will see any Muslims or Jews in the 'Western Nations' sitting down to eat them. Crunchy and if you have seafood allergies, you may want to give them a miss.

In Mexico, and other Countries south of the US border, they eat a wide variety of insects. The color Cochineal comes from crushed insects, and this is often used in food preparation in the West. In South America, the Guinea Pig has been a food animal for so long, it doesn't even exist in the wild any more, but English and North American children would be horrified to have a pizza with Guinea Pig on it (a treat in Peruvian Cities).

The Ancient Mexicans, Polynesians, Chinese, Vietnamese and Australians all used to breed specific dogs for eating, the Polynesians dogs were vegitarian and considered very sweet to eat.

I've travelded a lot had all 3. they were pretty good. mostly had the texture of chicken but tasted like differant spices. dogs and monkeys are one thing, but now you've gone too far!

I'm sure they're edible, but you won't catch me eating it---knowingly.

I have found that dogs, cats and monkeys all have a similar flavor. However, that flavor can be improved dramatically by basting them internally with semen before cooking them. There are many methods to apply this technique, but I prefer direct penile insertion. The dogs and cats are somewhat resistive to this, but the monkey seemed quite found of his daily "basting".
