None of the Asians I've ever met eat rice with noodles or spaghetti!!! And I live in Japan, so I've got lots of Asian people around me - not just Japanese, either!


Maybe your maid just loves rice so much that she can't go without it for even one meal?!!

it is a staple to them, just like tortillas are to Hispanics. Asians also live a lot longer then most nationalities so they must be doing something right! Ask her to make you lunch too!

with allot of things, Im on holiday inj indonesia right now and I stay with local people...I eat like allot of difrent things, dont know most of the names of the vegtables doh, but its eatable...they have as much variaty as in western countries Rice is the main stay for mose asian cultures. In some it is concidered to be almost religous. If there is not a boul of rice on the table the meal is not compleat. It reminds them that they are from the poor no mater how much they have.

lol azn yes rice goes with everything its their main diet. my dad won't have a meal without it. say he gets hungry again fast if he don't get some rice into his stomach.

ASIANS EAT RICE WITH A LOT OF STUFF. USUALLY NOT WITH SPAGETTI THOUGH. THEY EAT RICE WITH EGGS,VEGGIES,AND MEAT. WE USUALLY DON'T MIX ASIAN RICE WITH AMERICAN FOOD. SOME ASIANS ARE NOT USED WITH THE AMERICAN TASTE,SO THEY MIX IT WITH THEIR USUAL MEAL. SO THAT IS WHY YOUR MAID EATS IT WITH SPAGETTI. 'everything' pretty much sums it up LOL

Some add rice to everything it's a preference, and by the way, no one here thinks you have a maid I am not Asian, but like rice ,when I have rice there is peace in my stomach and my whole body for that matter, I am satisfied and full and at peace with my world. Perhaps we should introduce it in the violent nations. It may help there
