Theres one in new york city- India spice.. Its soo GOOD and GREAT food there .. The other one in Hicksville is called the Taste of India... Also , theres one in Queens called Jackson's Diner. I heard it has the best Indian food there .. SO Try!!! maybe Jackson's Diner may be cheap! But all the restaurants are great!

Banjara rules on 6th street. You can't go wrong on 6th street. Other favorites include Cafe Spice off of Union Square, Jackson Diner on 74th street in Queens, Vatan on 3rd avenue for all Vegetarian.

If you want really cheap, not so chili food, visit the places you see taxi drivers stopping at. There's one really tiny place on Houston and Ave A which always has a ton of taxis parked outside it.
