The best I had was in a 3 star restaurant in Chicago; Eugene's.
Chopped and ground center-cut AGED filet mignon, capers, small amount of Mauii onion, salt and grated peppercorns, served over a small salad, drizzled with a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil and topped with shaved asiago. Mmmm...I can taste it now. Do not chance this in an unrated restaurant. Have with a glass of dry champagne or a dry full bodied Cab or Bordeaux.
