1 cup grated coconut

Few grains salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
Mix cassava with milk and egg; let stand for 5 minutes. Cream butter and sugar; add cassava mixture and coconut to creamed butter and sugar. Mix batter well. Sift flour, baking powder and salt; add to butter. Stir in vanilla extract & raisins, and turn batter into an oiled and floured 8-inch square cake pan. Bake at 400 degrees for about 40 minutes or until done. Cut into squares or rectangles.

4. Pour the mixture into a well-greased baking dish and bake in a preheated moderate oven at 180o for 1 to 11/4 hours or until set.
