Why? Personally, I will never do it but we eat cows, chickens, birds, fish, sheep, goats, turkeys and all other kinds of meats. What's different about dogs and cats?

i know why not, we are animals,they all taste like chicken. Which by the way is a nasty animal. You eat beef and cows are scared to some people. So what makes you special to choose what to eat.

Why not? Protein is protein!

Farmed dogs or cats should be thought of in exactly the same way as farmed cows, sheep, pigs & chickens! Forget Felix, forget Rover, forget Babe, forget Mary's little lamb, forget Ermintrude, forget Chicken Little..! IF YOU think it's okay to eat the animals farmed in YOUR country, what makes you think you have the right to criticise other countries just because they farm different animals?

I often hear people saying that their 'God' made cows etc. for people to eat, but 'their' god didn't bother to give cows, pigs, sheep and chickens to everyone on the planet!! She / he gave them dogs instead ... how nice! Now THAT's what I call generous...!

Dog is only eaten in countries where there was traditionally a shortage of protein sources. And there's only a handful of countries that do it! If your parents and ancestors hadn't eaten cows, you would think that beef was an outrageous thing to eat!
