Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(what is Laos Snake Whiskey?),it will help you,my kids.
i saw a picture of it in a magazine, and it looked interesting, so here i am...
any social background would be nice, also, id like to know what it tastes like.
really though, why would anyone put snakes in whiskey?
Answers:
I saw this a lot when I went to Vietnam a few years ago. They put a cobra in a bottle and fill it with vodka or some other spirit. Some people believe it gives them strength and virility. They also drink snake blood mixed with vodka.
Other Answers:
Cymalon has the answer. I just wanted to add that that is the reason Special Forces personnel are called "Snake", or "Snake Eater". They, for the most part during their career, will have imbibed in this as an initiation, or to prove themselves to locals.

They have something like this in Japan. I was disgusted. I can do without the folk myths. I saw it for sale throughout my travels in Laos. The local people told me that they rarely drink it and it is just for "show" for the tourists. At one time they believed that men who drank the snake whiskey would be better endowed and father more children. Now, it is just a way for them to make money and laugh at the tourists who fall for it.
