Pork tenderloin is one of my favorite things to prepare! I always take Montreal Steak Seasoning and a bit of olive oil and rub it all over the tenderlion. Then make a few slits in the top and shove some chopped garlic cloves in there, and throw it on the BBQ (wrapped in foil) for 20 minutes per pound (medium heat, turning once or twice during cooking). The last 5 minutes I remove the foil so it gets a little crusty, but is still tender inside. Another great seasoning for it is Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning, if you prefer a more cajun flavor.

Other Answers:
Smear with either poltry seasoning or sage, or rosemary and double wrap in heavy foil. Cook in oven at 400 degrees for
approximately 20 minutes per pound. You may also grill in the foil and turn every 20 minutes until done. We cook the whole loin for about an hour and a half.
You wrote "Pork Tenderloin" I am going to assume you did not mean Pork "loin" The loin is different cut and much larger than a tenderloin.

My favorite way to cook Pork Tenderloin.

Marinate whole tenderloin in a marinade of the following;
Olive oil 1/2 cup
Crushed fresh garlic 2 cloves
Fine Chopped Rosemary 1 or 2 sprigs
Lemon Zest from 1/2 lemon
Cracked Black Pepper 3 or 4 twists from a pepper grinder
Soy sauce 3 or 4 tbsp

Marinate for a couple of hours.
Grill it whole and then slice (do not overcook)

Or sear it on top of the stove in a saute pan on high heat and finish it in the oven, 350 degrees for about 10 to 15 minutes uncovered

The main thing people do with pork tenderloin or pork loin is overcook it. Cook it to medium doneness. You will not get trichinosis from medium cooked pork.

Enjoy!!

If you have access to a rotisserie, I'd suggest trying your pork tenderloin on that. Depending on the weight of the cut, it will take a couple hours or more. Try something simple with the rotisserie pork first, like a simple italian vinaigrette basting every now and then.
i just rub sea salt and fresh ground pepper onto both sides and place it on the roasting rack with quartered onions and celery. you can leave it uncovered and bake it at 350 for about 3 or 4 hours( you just have to check temp), it all depends on the size of tenderloin you have. if your crunched for time you can always turn up the heat (400 or 425) or you can even start with the tenderloin wrapped in tinfoil - that keeps the heat concentrated and it cooks a little quicker. which in that case remove the foil a good half hour or so before you take it out, so that it has a chance to brown up.
