my little girl is turning one in Sept.. i am trying to plan a big party because she is the only grand child on my families side.. and the youngest one on my hubbies side.so i have like 50 people and am trying to get a hall... i cant believe the number of people who said that i should not have a party because she will not remember it... so not the point right?? its a celebration of the first year!! well i have the whole menu planned and a guest list just no where to have it so far! so what is the question? am willing to chat e mail me if you need help! ( i alreadt started buying decorations!!)

Friends and family. I got my own little cupcake to eat all by myself on my 1st birthday. Maybe you should try that. Good Luck!
Cupcakes are a great idea. Other than that, just serve food the other guests will enjoy. (I served home-made pizzas at my daughter's 1st birthday) My sister in law (who makes cakes for a living) made a fantastic sheet cake for the guests and a tiny round cake just for her! Take a lot of pictures!
