Kitty said: Yes.80's foods?-I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(80's foods?),it will help you,my kids.
I am throwing an 80's party and I want to cook somethings that are funny like Potato skins... Can you think of any really classic 80's foods that would be fun?
Answer:
Potato skins and fondue were the first things I thought of also but some other things if you want meat and protein are Quiche and Ruben Sandwiches. Also deep dish pizza was really popular. For Desserts I remember Crepes being big.
Jiffy pop on the stove rather than Microwave Popcorn and
Tab Soda
sushi was all the rage in the 80's
the 80's were all about the microwave and canned veggies.
easy quick and simple, you know, bring home the bacon and fry it up in a pan.
what about those hot dogs with cheese inside?
If I was entertaining with an 80's theme I'd definately get the old fondue set out, as they were all the rage back then.
Here are some others that briong back some memories...lol
Astro pops, Banana Splits, Candy Necklaces, Dynamints, Easy Squeeze cheese, Fondue, Gummy bears, Heydays,
(deep fried) Icecream, Jawbreakers, Krispy Kritters, Liquid lollipops,Mars Bars, Nerds, Ovatine, Pushpops, Quaker Chewy Granola bars, Razzles, Skittles, Tab, UFO's, Violet Crumble Bars, Whistle pops, XLNT Tamales, Yoohoo Vanilla, Zingers.
I know for an absolute fact that Kiwi fruit, blackened anything, Cajun food, and croissants, Hagen Daz ice cream, were big in the 80's. Believe it or not but 50's diner style restaurants were big too. Those were the days!
