Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Any Ideas for a retirement Party?),it will help you,my kids.
I am planning my Dad's retirement party for next weekend. I have invited guests and asked them to bring "honey Do lists" only changed to "Harry do lists" for my dad's name. I am planning on reading them off at the party. I am also making a ham and have a lady making appetizers. I would love ideas on how to entertain the guests. My dad is 58 and still dirt bike rides, and he was a earth moving construction worker,,,,hope that is enough details for some great ideas. Thanks
Answer:
Sounds corny but it would be fun if you could find cheap construction hats for everyone. Maybe dig and plant a tree in his honor. Also get someone to bring parts of machinery etc or tools- put them in a box (weight) for others to feel and guess what they are. Prizes could be diner cards, lunch gift cards- a year of sports if hes into anything on cable. Get him a kids bike with training wheels or toy cycles. Do you have ridealongs or track days at your nearby track? Something alittle daredevil....How about someone taking a camcorder to work or even a cameraphone- get quotes, picks of work, funny stories, photos of co workers- make a slideshow on DVD- even CD and he'd love it- I got one when mine got out of the Marines- the base isn't even there anymore- precious thing to have. If you don't have moviemaker on your windows xp or a similar you can go to company sites and get 2 week trial downloads of their slideshow makers- you can add music etc. HAVE FUn!
your dad sounds really cool, I bet he would love some strippers
Take them to Chevy's. It's fun.
Strippers
Have it at a local restaurant where it is easy to get to. Everyone pays their own bill. Make gift bags for your guests. Stuffed with things related to your job. Find your fixings at the local dollar store. Have folks write in your memory book what to do while you are retired. Put one of those disposable cameras on each table. Tell someone at each table to take each ones' picture.
Invite your co workers, friends, and family. Have a limit due to space available at the restaurant.
no dont have strippers
