I am hosting a baby shower in June in a park with a pavillion(Let's pray for nice weather). I want to make the most of this shower and hope that it wiill be very entertaining. I have surfed the internet for the past few days but I really havent found any interesting ideas. I guess I am looking to turn into Martha Stewart or Sandra Lee (for all of my food network fans) overnight. I need so helpful suggestions, websites, and/or books. Can you help me?

rubber tire?
smells gooooood.
My friends hosted this activity for me as a bridal shower, but it totally works for a baby shower too - see scrapbook extravaganza: http://cocktailqueens.com/showers.html...
I'm thinking you could tweak the idea so people write thoughts and advice for the baby-to-be. If you have enough tables at your pavillion, set up craft stations and this would be perfect!
A good Idea for and outdoor center piece would be blue hydrangia flowers these last the longest and make great centerpieces. Then go to a store like a craft store and get foam that you can place the stems of the flowers in also to put the foam in look for a round flat ceramic pot when you want to put this all togeter. Take the pot cut the foam to fit put water in the pot just enough to soak the foam place the flowers in the foam they should stick right into it and as an extra cuteness add Rubber Duckies you can get bambbo sticks like shiskabob sticks usually located in local grocery stores i know publix has them in the utensil isles anyways place the bottom of the rubber duck there is usually a little hole under the duck and put it on the stick then place it in the middle of your arrangement. It makes a cute bright and elegant way of making the outdoors satisfy your baby shower needs. You can make as many arrangements as you need. hope my advice gives you an idea
