Our corporation holds an annual event, and each individual branch has to come up with a theme depending on the actual theme of the event. We chose Caddyshack this year, being the theme is Academy Award Winning Movies. Caddyshack is not an a winner of the Academy Awards as far as I am aware, but we are able to do it anyway and thought it would be something out of the ordinary. So we are to dress as if we were the characters in the movie, and play along throughout the evening. That in itself is no issue, but whichever branch has the best theme wins, and in a corporation, well this is our PRIDE!! So I was looking to see if anyone had any other extravagent ideas that might help us win? We don't have a lot of money to spend, but Goodwill is a good candidate for this, as well as I am sure my boss still has lots of good ole plaid in his closet! Anything other ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!

Have everyone dress in golf outfits - loud and plaid, like it came from a Kentucky golf pro shop.
Get cheap role of green astro-turf type carpeting and have a putting contest.
Decorate the tables with tees and golf balls.
You can also play putting-pool. Mark off a large rectangle and mark pockets with rounds of paper. Putt like you're playing pool. Corney but fun, especially after a few gin and tonics.
Try to score a golf cart for valet service.
Your parties sound like loads of fun!
baby ruth bars, unwrapped. sculpted gophers out of butter.
Not sure, but you have to somehow get the gopher in there
lol, you need to make some fake dynamite to carry around.. find a stuffed gopher at a toy store.. everyone needs a golf club to carry.. Remember, not everyone can be dressed completely crazy, some fo the characters were well dressed golfers.
Get hold of the best lines from the movie, and memorize them.. use them all night long..
I'd have a movie viewing a couple days before the event with all your staff, to get in the mood, and choose lines and characters.
Is it possible to rent a mini golf course from a party company? I was at a trade show once that had that put in the lobby.
I don't now how far you want to go with this, but I would really want to place the Baby Ruth on ice, so that it floats in the punch bowl.
Also have a set up ready so that everyone can have their picture made with the groundhog,"Like someone is going to forget this event".
