Here are some friends with simlar question as we.And I have this question for many days, anyone help us?
Kitty said: Yes.Any ideas for a Parrot-head's 60th birthday party?-I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Any ideas for a Parrot-head's 60th birthday party?),it will help you,my kids.
This summer my husband, a devoted Parrothead, will have a major birthday. We are planning a party at a lodge right on the beach. The food (cheeseburgers, shrimp on the barbee, drunken fruit) and drinks (Corona & Margaritas) are a given. I need ideas for decorations. We have the tiki bar, the floral leis, and pirate hats. If any Parrotheads have some ideas to help us raise the standards on the decor, I'll really appreciate the help. Fins to the left!
Answer:
How about finding some cute little glass Salt shakers, and some puffy glass paint. Then decorate, and write the words "lost shaker of salt" as a party favor. Also, maybe you could get some coconuts and cut the tops off and use as planters for table centerpieces . Then sprinkle some colored beach glass (kinda like confetti on the tables). I really love all the novelty strands of lights you can buy these days, like strands of chili peppers or palm trees. Oh, and don't forget some Juicy Fruit! Hope this helps.(Adult child of lifelong Parrotheads)
Nice! What's your address? I'm there!! I'd suggest checking our the margaritaville.com website and look at some of the images on the tee-shirts from Buffett's line.
As you no doubt know, they're all themed from his songs, so that may give you some decoration ideas. You can also buy stuff from that website.
Also, get more items from Oriental Trading Company, also on line.
Enjoy the party when your Pirate looks at 60!
