Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Any ideas on a potluck/appetizer type of Christmas dinner? No fancy entrees, seaf),it will help you,my kids.

For the last 29 years of my life, my family has had a traditional Christmas dinner (ham, mashed bread, desserts, etc.) at my Aunt's house on Christmas Day.
My Mom just called me and told me that my Aunt doesn't feel like cooking the traditional dinner this year. She was just diagnosed with an incurable disease and is very stressed right now,so I understand completely.
I offered to cook, but my Aunt says she would rather just have finger foods for the dinner. That's fine, but I think she's gone "off her rocker" cuz she is baking a ham, sweet potatoes, and also BURRITOS!!! (???!!!) She wants my Mom and I to bring finger foods to go along with the ham, sweet potatoes and burritos. My mom and I are up in the air over what to bring cuz we need to feed about 20 people, and we're thinking that finger foods aren't going to satisfy all the hungry men.
The things we've thought of so far are:
deviled eggs
cheese,crackers,meat tray
chips/dips
Desserts
Any ideas??

How about some different kinds of soups and chili perhaps, Chili cheese dip with chips, bacon wrapped lil links, cream cheese spread on a platter with cocktail sauce and shrimp to spread on crackers, sweetish meatballs, barbeque meatballs, oyster stew, calico beans, apples and snicker pieces with pudding and cool whip mixed in is realy good, cheese ball, cheese cake, pecan pie, pumpkin roll, or pumpkin pie, pumpkin bars, egg nog. Hope that helps. Have a Merry Christmas and a Safe Holiday!

Easy, make up/buy some chicken and beef kebabs, grill/bbq. Make some pototo salad, pasta salad and greek or green salad. Add a few dips and crackers and cheese and youll be fine!
buffalo wings, bake some frozen pizza, Oscar Mayer little smokies wrapped with Pillsbury crescent roll dough.
Homemade mac and cheese is easy to make, stays warm and is easy to reheat. Pineapple chunks wrapped in bacon are yummy! A pot baked beans is always popular, you can buy canned beans and add BBQ sauce and Dijon mustard.green bean casserole has been around for years and it's a vegetable. Hope these give you some more ideas.

What you have is great, if you add 2 or 3 assorted salads. Pasta with imitation crab salad. Coleslaw w/pineapple, green salad with the normal tomatoes and cukes in it. Perhaps side dish's to add to the salad. baby corn, nuts, raisins, olives Peperchino peppers, Then a fruit tray. Whole fruit, so what is not eaten can be saved.
lasagna, cold meat platter, sushi, baked beans, stuffed clams,

roast a big pan of assorted root vegetables, steam a huge pile of asparagus and make hollandaise sauce,

cupcakes, chocolate mousse, truffles
Cocktail meatballs.......3 lbs ground round....3 tbls minced dried onion, 1 cup ketchup, 1 1/2 cup cornflake crumbs...salt, pepper, 3 tbls worchestire sauce, 2 beaten eggs. Mix together well and shape into small balls.(about the size of a quarter). Bake on large cookie sheet....325 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, until browned. (I usually cut one in half to make sure they are not pink. Remove from cookie sheet....Put n 9 x 13 dish. In a saucepan.....pour 2 12oz jars chili sauce and 24 oz grape jelly...melt together until you no longer see any jelly....pour over meatballs and heat in oven for few minutes....YUMMY
Also.....little smokies in crockpot......topping for them is tomato soup and cranberry sauce melted and then poured over smokies and left on warm
try turkey sandwiches,
ham sandwiches,
cheese sandwiches,
pork pies
such like.........
general Jacobs join food and persuade your relatives the same idea and you will have plenty of food
This is easy and tastes great....Just buy a package of cream cheese...and a can of chili...Dennisons or hormel...with meat & beans....take the cream cheese and put in microwave to soften. Then heat the chili...and fold in the cream cheese.....warm....serve with tortilla chips...it's a great & easy dip...and a real crowd pleaser. Good luck!
These are some great ideas. I would suggest adding a tray of fresh fruit/berries and one of veggies as well. Pick out and slice the fruit yourself based on what you think people will actually eat.

Based on what you have listed you may find Paula Dean's recipes for snacks helpful at food.com
We just had potluck at work not that long ago and I made chicken wings. It is a really easy recipe. All you do is take 2 - 3 sticks of melted butter add about 1 cup hot sauce (something like Texas Pete) and 2 packages of dry ranch mix. put all this in a crock pot or a roaster and let it simmer for a couple of hours. It is awesome, they were a hit, if you make enough you will be able to fill all those hungry men of yours.

Happy Holidays
Foccacia cut up into cubes. (1 inch squares)
Wraps
Fresh Fruit Tray
Nancy's Quiches or equivalent-you can get them in the frozen section-they are bite sized.
Hummus and vegetables
Pita chips and tzaziki (sp) dip-it's a greek yougurt and cucumber dip and really refreshing
Assorted Olives
Pate
Antipasti platter-marinated artichokes, olives, salami, roasted red bell peppers.
Chicken wings
Buffalo Wings
This is really yummy!
Take a big block of Velveeta cheese, a jar of salsa, and cook up some hamberger meat...mix it all up and make sure the cheese is melted and VOILA!! SOOOO yummy! Then get some tortilla chips and you are set....Just make sure you bring it warm...it will be the first thing to disappear!!!
Potato skins...with bacon bits, cheese, and sour cream... mmm..
bring some biscuits for the ham and make some country gravy.
this way those men can have hearty gravy and biscuit to fill them up.
