It is for a boy

Answer:
You can mix orange juice fruit punch and sherbet ice cream. You usually also mix 7up but for the kids you can take that one out. It taste really good and is fun. Also serve water so they wont over do it on the punch.
apple juice
I would go with apple juice, or white grape.
Because it is [[or sounds]] like a family even, I say go for Kool Aid. Many people like it! Or you can stick with traditional Coca Cola and Sprite. But if you want to avoid all the sugar and what not, you should try and go for the apple juice. :]
Sorry but for a 1 year old, I've gotta go with water. Especially if there's cake & ice cream. You don't want a roomful of upset tummies.
Or did you mean for the grown-ups? I'd serve champagne & toast making it thru the 1st year.
milk or juice
When I hold my son's party, I usually fill a big tub or my inflatable witch on halloween with those twist top Kool-aid bottles and capri Suns. That way they stay cold and the kids can grab them and drink them without making a huge mess. Since you have a one year old you could get apple juice boxes or even the Capri Sun water drinks they have now. I find this works best so you don't have to provide sippy cups and there are no spills from those cheap paper cups! Have fun, I love throwing my son's birthday parties!
A mixture of hawaiian Punch and gingerale
punch, but then again juice is good too
Since the party is for a boy, I would suggest getting a keg of beer.
