    Desperately needing ideas for a sweet 16?

Here are some friends with simlar question as we.And I have this question for many days,anyone help us?

I'd like to throw something not too fancy or expensive, but really, really fun. I'm thinking of having about 20 people.

Answer:
You can go with chinese take out. $100 bucks will take you a long way. Other than that, a cake for Safeway ($30) and ($20)soda (store brand). ($40) snack trays ($20) decorations or papper plates. So you can have a nice party for around $200. If you wanted favors hit like a dollar store and get candles or something.

Cooking youeself and skipping premade things like cakes and party trays are also ways to cut costs but they are more work.

You could also ask ppl to bring things too, like a potluck.

As for things to do at a party. The game dirty minds is hillarious. And Cranium is great for a lot of ppl. There is singing, charades and dancing. That game is awsome too.

You could skip everything for a bonfire :)

Since most kids drive at 16, try having a scavenger hunt.
Have a karoake party! Go to the thrift stores and by a bunch of funny hats, wigs, ties, old bum shirts, suspenders, etc. Buy each guest a disposable camera so they can all take pictures. Roll up and hide a bunch of dollar bills all over the place in the yard. Contact some of her male friends and see if you can get them to come by at a particular time and sing happy birthday to her all dressed up like girls. Play pin the tail on the principal. or.... you could take them all to a water park if you really want them to have fun!!!!!
I heard about this idea in a magazine: You should serve fast food, but serve it on nice, fancy glass plates. that would be kinda fun i think. Then you can serve soda, juice or water in wine glasses. So make it fancy without being fancy. Thats what i wanted to do for my sweet 16, but i ended up not having one.
Make a theme, like something from a movie.
Have a "candy bar" (different types of candy...they can be the color of your party theme).
Have a guest list and a V.I.P section so your party will feel more exclusive.
Make guests dress in one or two specific colors, then you dress in a completely different color...so u stand out.
