Kitty said: Yes.Dinner party for 8 people?-I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Dinner party for 8 people?),it will help you,my kids.
What is the best way: family style, buffet style, or plates prepared in the kitchen by host and hostess.
Answer:
Depends on your dinner? Are you all sitting at the set diningroom table? That would be family style/chef prepared. Grabbing a plate and sitting outside/around the TV? That's buffet. Also depends on what you are serving. If it's lasagna you can put the servings on the plate and serve that way.
Unless you want to work the whole party or hire servers, I would do the buffet style. This will free you to sit and eat with your guests instead of waiting on them. Family style is great but again a lot more work for you. Good Luck
I would do a sit down dinner if its eight people. Buffets are beter for large family holidays. Also, it depends on what kind of party. If you are planning for Memorial Day, I'd go with Family Style, sit wherever you want.
I prefer buffet style. Provide hostess more time for socializing and is a less formal atmosphere.
DO YOU WANT A FRIENDLY DINNER OR IS THIS MORE BUSINESS, IF FRIENDLY DINNER BUFFET,IF BUSINESS PLATES NAMASTE
If all 8 people are going to sit down together at the table, I'd recommend family-style serving.
