Back in the day...we had a "double vision" party where everyone dressed alike...my date and I wore matching PJ's...boring friends wore black and white ensembles...but this allows the couple to collaborate and come up with something fun...team uniforms, bathrobes, bathing suits...it can get really fun!
My friends & I had...Jersey night (everyone represents for favorite teams!) Black & white party...very fancy, Vegas night (we had gambling tables set up, red carpet night (even fancier) , Hollywood night (dress up as fav actor or dinger)
pimps and 'hos, or tarts and vicars
have fun!
Bowery Ball(Pimps and Hos) Did this at my college and it was always fun.
Disco night!
Toga party (making the togas from sheets is half the fun)
pajama party
Duct-tape dress clothes.
"Gangsta" parties seem to be a big hit in the news lately...wink, wink ;-)
Couple that we have had:
Jungle Party: Everyone dressed as Jan and Tarzan
Saturday Night Fever Night: Disco Costumes Only
Party Like a Rock Star: Everyone dressed as their favorite star and/or group...can twist off that to celebrity night.
