Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Does anyone cream butter and sugar w/ a Cusinart or food processer?),it will help you,my kids.
I'm wondering if this is what I'm doing wrong in my baking? & does this give a similar result to mixing w/ expensive Kitchen Aid type mixer.
Answer:
no, I use a electric hand mixer . does the job great.
you probably need a good recipe.
that's your problem.
try softening the butter (barely) in the microwave and then creaming it by hand. It works
no
I see nothing wrong with this. I use a mix master to do it and everything is fine.
it adds to much air in a processor,, put in a small and smoosh it togther with the back of a table spoon, works well and gives the best results
No, because adding the flour to the FP will inevitably overmix the dough, and that will make the final product tough. But I suppose you could cream the butter, sugar and eggs, then remove it to mix in the flour.
Buy a Kitchenaid, an investment for a lifetime.
