Have it at a church or community center. Advertise with flyers at local convenience stores, supermarkets, any places welcoming bulletins. Ask local paper to place ad for free. Call your local broadcasting station and ask them to advertise it for free.Ask local restaurants, deli, liquor stores, etc. to donate. Mention their name in the bulletin. All you can do is ask. You'd be surprised how many people are happy to kick in for a good cause. Best of luck.
You've got to sell it. Don't just go up to vendors and ask for something for a party. Explain how their participation is going to help them. Target vendors, suppliers, and other companies you work with closely. It's amazing what you can get for free if you just ask for it the right way.
Ask for Donations.. If it's strickly for toys ask differnt business to pitch in and help.
Alot of times if it is a charity your local stores will donate food or money. Don't wait until the last minute. I think that it takes chains such as wal-mart time to contact the head office to donate. You may even be able to find a dj or band to play at the party for nothing. Stores may even give you gift cards or gift baskets to have a silent auction or raffle to raise money. GOOD LUCK!
Sure if its all Charity get all the local businesses to donate you everything and you can have a pretty nice party!!
