Kitty said: Yes.Graduation party theme: chocolate and pastel?-I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Graduation party theme: chocolate and pastel?),it will help you,my kids.
How does this sound for a grad party? My favorite color is purple(lavender), so I wanted to have purple decor at first, but then I thought that lilac, green, and choclate brown accent looks really cute together. I am graduating grad school, and we want to rent out a room, so its more upscale than a backyard party. I also would like to have a cupcake tower using the colors with icing. What do you think? Any suggestions?
Answer:
i think you are heading in the right direction. Continue to follow your trend. I think those colors will most definatly belnd well. Don't go too overboard in finding everything that matches the accented colors, then it will look to overdone. Add hints of chocolate and green and focus slightly more>home.discovery.com/fansites/pa...

Sounds good. Also go for a shape theme. Those colors would look good with circles or dots...sounds crazy but if you go for circular accents it will be really cute. Find round candles, cloth w/ circles or dots for table cloths or napkins, paper laterns, etc. Round appetizers (like cheese wafers and melon balls) will go nicely with the cupcakes you've already got lined up!
I like the lilac green and chocolate idea. And the above lil miss comments, circular.
Chocolate cupcakes with stripes and all kinds of cutsey modern designs.
Anything can be made elegant if you put your mind to it and sometimes less is more.
Focus on one main (idea)/item and smaller ones around.
Go for more dramatic and elegant I say. Go shopping and try to pair things up together and you will know it when you see it.
IF not you can always take some deco items back.
i guess its cute but a little too girly dont'cha tink?
I think the colors will be nice. I just attended a wedding this fall and the colors were chocolate brown and pink. Very cute.
I love the idea of the cupcake tower! That would be my choice too!
