Kitty said: Yes.Having a party, what's your favorites?-I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Having a party, what's your favorites?),it will help you,my kids.
I am having a fun party on Saturday night ;) For those of you who aren't familiar with a "fun party" its for ladies only and a sales consultant comes to your home and tastefully presents massage oils, edible lotions, lingerie, books, games, and sex toys. It is usually a lot of fun, we have a lot of laughs and it's a huge stress reliever!
I planned on serving a mojitos, zima, and corona w/ lime wedges as well as soda.
My question is what kind of party foods are simple to make, can be made ahead of time, are a bit more up scale than chips and yet go well with beer?
Answer:
Oh they are tortilla wraps sort of.
Get cream cheese, mix it with diced green chiles, mix it up, add some garlic powder to it, mix again, then spread some mix on the tortilla, roll it up, and cut pieces of it, disgard the ends. Repeat with a new tortilla until you are out. They are a hit!
Still chips sorta, I'm a big fan of Knorr's Spinach dip. The mix can be found usually on the soup aisle (check with spices too) and is their vegetable soup mix. It uses sour cream, spinach, water chestnuts. I serve it with tortilla chips and never have any left. Also a mixed assortment of gourmet olives is nice.
Antipasto platter. Put some deli meat, Good olives, roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts and a variety of cheese all on one platter. Serve with sliced toasted bread or crackers.
A layer dip with guacamole, sour cream, chopped onions, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce etc. Serve with tortilla chips.
Cut up veggies and a nice veggie dip
Tomato slices (thick) with fresh mozzarella and basil
