I'm having a Hawaiian B-day and I don't know where to go to get a cake made and i need some ideas. Please send me links to websites.
Answer:
If it's a "Hawaiian" themed cake, simply call the bakery and share them your conception of Hawai'i, and they'll put something together for you. Included is a recipe for a "Hawaiian" cake. But to be honest, you should just make a chocolate haupia pie. Check this delicious thing out: http://onokinegrindz.typepad.com/ono_kin...
It's a very popular dessert here in Hawai'i! Check out the URL's below.

Hawaiian Wedding Cake
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 eggs
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
1 cup chopped walnuts
3/4 cup flaked coconut
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease one 9 x 13 inch pan.
In a large bowl, mix sugar, soda, and flour by hand. Mix in eggs, pineapple with juice. Stir in nuts, and coconut. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
I don't know of a place to buy one, but I have a very easy recipe:
White cake mix (make as directed but use juice drained from a can of crushed pineapple in place of water)
Frosting: (just mix the 3 ingredients below, it may look like it won't combine, but it will and it tastes great)
1 lrg bowl Cool Whip
1 Box Coconut pudding mix
1 can drained crushed pineapple
You can also add any of the following into the cake batter: crushed pineapple, mandarin oranges, shredded coconut
In the frosting, you could also add:
Shredded coconut or chopped pecans
Hope this helps!
