Answer:
I had the best trout the other day. It was put in foil with butter, four spears of asparagus on top and a couple slices of lemon on that. It was THE BEST! Oh, wrap in foil and bake. Sorry, don't know how long, but I'm assuming it's 350 degrees.
baking
Filet
Marinade it in italilan dressing for about 20 min and bake at 350 for about 15 or until done.
Steamed with butter and herbs. Grilled with spices.
Put it on the grill with a little butter and garlic.
Coat it with a mixture of lemon pepper and olive oil and bake it. There are about as many ways to prepare fish as there are any other meat. Look up some recipes on Google.
BBQ on a cedar plank
you can
bake
roast,
saute,
steam,
boil,
grill,
poaching,
braising
and of course
pan frying
I bought some haddock, and had no idea how to cook it. Went to allrecipes.com, and found several that sounded good. I like this site, the recipes come from just people, and people are allowed to rate the recipes, I always read the reviews. I found my now famous cheesecake recipe there, I get rave reviews on it.
Bake it, pan fry it, deep fry it, put it in a bag with veggies and steam it, steam it by regular methods, make fish soup or stew, put it in tacos, put it in a casserole, or stuff it.
TRY THIS:

Season however you like it best, and then place it on a screen (at least 1/2 inch above the bottom of the broiler and if you need to, you can use a couple of clean rocks to lift screen) Use Frozen concentrate OJ and a little ground pepper to glaze before cooking. Coat the bottom of a broiler with water, a couple of drops of liquid smoke and two or three cloves and small amount of lemon juice. Cover and bake so that the steam cooks the fish for you. As the glaze drops into the water, the smell is just wonderful.

Good luck
Yeah, this Lemon Pepper Salmon is great.

For 1lb of salmon fillets.

Combine in a small bowl:
2 TBS of Fat free mayo
1 tsp Lemon-pepper seasoning
the juice from 1 lemon

Lightly coat a broiler pan with cooking spray. Place salmon skin side down on pan and brush mixture on salmon.

Broil about 6 inches from flame, until filet's flake easily with a fork. This should take about 12 min.

Note: This recipe goes nicely with steamed broccoli and brown rice.
Have you considered grilling?

This may sound odd but in a frying pan break up cod fillets and add fish rub. Serve as tacos with cheese, cilantro, tomatoes etc. Also, I have cooked Perch on the grill (fry on pan for a few min. it is also very tricky but you can put in tinfoil and then on the grill. Spray some Pam on the George Forman Grill and take some Emeril's fish rub grill until cooked. I also will use Shake and Bake and put the fish (Catfish, Perch, etc.) and put that on the Forman Grill.
Sweet and sour fish is my favourite. It's very easy and quick to make. Cut the fish in small pieces and fry, set aside. Add oil, garlic, ketchup, chili sauce, sugar, a bit of water and cornstarch. Your delicious sweet and sour sauce is done. Mix pineapples, tomatoes, spring onions if you want. Mix everything together.

why would you want to ruin fish by frying it???
Bake or saute, poach, in parchment with wine and vegetbles and grill.
put the fish on some tin foil add a knob of butter and then cover the fish with tin foil, put it in the oven and it will steam in the tin foil it stays moist and the butter and juices can then be poured over some potatoes mmmmmmmmmm
oven fry it in olive oil and breadcrumbs. tasty and healthy.
