I think she may have been that way before she started. I read an article and she can be pretty demanding. But I do like her shows.
She is ok but can NOT stand her chat show, its like fingernails down a chalk board to me...............glad I have a remote to use.
Rachel Ray is alright at times. But yes I agree, she does seem to have changed, maybe as a result of her newfound stardom, thanks to Oprah.

I used to hate her. But then my husband got me a couple cookbooks as a joke. Now we laugh at her. I think it's because she's getting too big for her britches on her own talk show.
My computer wallparer is a picture of her hauling a turkey out of the oven.......wearing a bikini top and short shorts. I've never heard her speak however. So for me, she's pretty good.
I was really looking forward to her new show - I had never seen her other shows, but just from guest spots she did on talk shows. I thought she would be cool and interesting. She is not and her show is not interesting. She is plain strange and very immature. I'll give her new show another chance once in a while, but I am very disappointed.
I think she is great. She is like all of us that aspire to be cooks. She isn't a chef she is a person who blew up and is famous. Give her a chance to shine like the star she is. Remember that a diamond in the rough is still a diamond.
I think she's in great danger of overexposing herself...her cooking show her magazine her talk show...too much too fast.
