You can OD on water. Just because someone is stupid and drink too much of anything and dies doesn't mean it should be banned or there would be nothing to drink.
Coffee will KILL you if you drink enough of it. Caffeine will raise your blood pressure, keep you awake, cause you to become dehydrated.
Too much of anything is going to be bad for you.
So have a little enjoy, and stay healthy.
Those stories are usually tied to something else if followed up on till the end. Not just the first story to print. Lots of speculating no proof. Thats why its still on the market. I drink them daily with no problems.
It is bad to drink too much coffee because coffee has a lot of caffeine and you can give yourself a caffeine over dose. And die. Red bull isn't banned because people are only dying from it because they drink to much and they over dose on caffeine. If anything should be banned it's caffeine..But i don't see that happening anytime soon. A lot of things that can kill you aren't banned. Millions of people die from cigarettes each year and there not banned. I think red bull taste good. I just think people shouldn't over indulge them selves! Also people die from red bull because they mix it will alcohol like yagermester, or vodka. And alcohol slows your body down...while red bull speeds your body up! And when you mix them together you body doesn't know what to do with itself either slow down or speed up. So if you drink to much your body goes crazy and blows up so to speak. It's there own fault for mixing it with alcohol. but people do a lot of things that are bad for them and they dont care about the consciences anymore. mainly high school and college kids!
Coffee makes your teeth bad and breath smell horrible, plus it has A LOT of amounts of caffeine, which is extremely unhealthy.
I don't know much about Red Bull though, never drank one one before, and thanks, now I know not to.

Too much in excess of anything is bad for you, coffee, Red Bull, Mountain Dew (1 can equivalent to 3 cups of coffee). I like espresso (1 shot of espresso has less caffeine than 1 cup of regular coffee), but that doesn't mean that I am going to down a dozen or more shots of it in a short amount of time. The same with Red Bull (personally I can't stand the stuff), the deaths are most likely due to over consumption in a short amount of time, the same goes with alcohol. I have even seen some news reports of people dieing by doing the same with water. They won't ban the drink for this reason, if they did, they would have to ban other energy drinks.
Red bull is delicious and essential to my life that's why its not banned.
One side effect of caffeine is high Blood Pressure.... So if you all ready have high BP then coffee could be bad for you.
