Myself and two of my girlfriends from High School are celebrating our 25th birthday in early November. I really wanted to go to Vegas, but that won't happen. So we want to get all of our friends together and celebrate with them, by bringing Vegas to N.Y. Is there anywhere we can rent a hall and have tables and shot girls etc?
If not, any other ideas for us?

it would probably be more expensive to rent the hall ... rent the tables ... and pay the girls then it would to go to Vegas.
just guessing 11/09/2007 - 11/12/2007 to atlantic city for one adult flying coach would be ... $498.00 round-trip
but from NYC to Las Vegas would only be $333.00 Round-trip
check out www.expedia.com for some more acuarate dates and prices ..
also i found a casino style table on ebay ... here is the link for it if you want to order it and just clear out the living room and invite over a few friends ... its in the sources list

You could also go to Atlantic City. That is pretty near you.
I think that Atlantic City is your best option and have a blast. Talk to the hotels and see if they have a package kind of thing that can be done as a group and that resembles Vegas even more that just been there.

It will be definitely more expensive to rent a hall, girls and all the gaming tables than to go to Vegas. Not to mention if you would like to provide drinks and food for your guests. For 20 guests plan on spending at least 2 grand. If your goal is to gamble then just go to AC. Although I really don't like it. It is very depressing. If your goal is Vegas, save your money and get a last minute travel deal. Usually you can get one for under $400 a person air included. Remember it's your birthday, and if you want Vegas, do Vegas.

You can go to mohegan sun casino and share a sweet for the weekend. it's in ct. There's plenty to do there!!!
