...I couldn't eat that much in a week!

Answer:
They stretch their stomaches. By eatting bread soaked in water and etc. That's what I heard from the Black Widow, a 100lb. tiny female who's won several eating contests.
They practice, and practice, and practice. If you ever get to see the MTV special on Kobayashi (and other eating-athletes) you should watch it, just to see all the stuff Kobayashi can eat in one sitting. Astronomical!

I disagree though, I think I could eat 60 hot dogs in a week, but would not want to.
I feel ya.
I see them drinking a lot of water during it...does that have something to do with it? I don't know.

Now I want a hotdog mmmm :-)
I don't know but when you consider what is in a hotdog...its really really gross that they eat so many...I mean imagine the parasites in thier stomach after consuming so many of those things! EWWWWW!!!
Yeah, isn't the record-holder a skinny Chinese guy? I think they fill up their stomachs, esophogus, and throats to win.
they eat 13 lbs of food and 11 lbs of water 2 days before a contest in one sitting. they then fast the day before the contest and for optimum stomach space management, they break the hotdogs in half and soak the buns in cups of water
they dip them in water and that makes it easier to go down.so they can eat more.
