We had a luau recently and one of the teenage girls dressed up beautifully for it. She had on a flowery summer dress with sandals and she had her hair all done up on top of her head with hibiscus flowers in it. When she added the leis that we provided she looked really pretty!
go to a party planning place like party creations.... a costume place, they should have luau stuff to purchase.
wear a bikini top and some shorts or other kind of beachwear.
You can buy a grass skirt at a party store... if that is something you want to wear...
I would just wear bright colors with capri's. You can buy a tropical looking flower and put it in your hair. I am sure they will have lei's at the party.
