Honey Cookies
Here is my favorite cookie that my sister got for me when she was in Hawaii....
HAWIAN COOKIES
1/2 cup white granulated sugar
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup packed flaked coconut
2/3 cup chopped macadamia nuts
2/3 cup chopped dates
2 cups flour
1-teaspoon baking soda
1-teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix the flour, baking soda and baking powder together in a bowl. Add the white sugar, the brown sugar, the coconut,
the nuts, the dates, to the flour mixture. Mix In the butter, egg, and vanilla. Roll 1" balls and place 2" apart on a
greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 10-13 minutes or until lightly golden. Cool.
I have a recipie for cookies that is over 100 years old. Can't let you have it because you want X'mas cookies and I only have Christmas cookies.

make thumbprint cookies but use rye flour and bitter marmalade. its great if you like bitter things (i do). Also, gingerbread waffles. Its just gingerbread mix cooked in a waffle iron.
