Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Looking for an inexpensive place to get food for a small party in St. Louis.?),it will help you,my kids.

My brother & I are planning to throw a surprise party for our parents' 30th anniversary in April, for about 50 people. I think we already have a location (though suggestions would be welcome). Right now we're having trouble finding a place to do hors d'ouvres (finger food) at a reasonable price - we'd like to keep the food portion under $100 if possible. We are both living out-of-town so we're in the dark as to who does good party platters. We've checked out Schnucks & Dierbergs, but they seem a bit pricey.

Any suggestions? We're looking for regular food, like, fruit/cheese/crackers, mini sandwiches, spinach dip, chips/cookies, soda/juice to drink.

thanks!

Answer:
Try the American Legion halls. many of them have both halls and a kitchens where they may hep you. Try also the Elks lodges
Sam's Club usually has party trays with all sorts of variety, cheeses, veggies, meats...
You can try getting cattered food from Subway. They do those long party subs. Or, I know you said you have a place already, but a fun place to go would be Hacienda! And I think they provide all kinds of food for way cheap!! Check out there website. Also shopnsave is so much more cheaper than schnucks,
So, am I invited to you party?
