Now that she is back on the air, I notice she has a number guests to work and learn at her side. Given this new format of the show's presentation, does anyone notice how she fumbles when trying to interact with her guests? Sometimes it goes smoothly, but other times she seems to trip over her whisk. In her former show, she just stood behind the counter and talked to the camera about her fabulous life...cooking techniques...and the 1800's farm house. I laugh when she tries to interact with her guests and uses the word "uhm" to great lengths. Anyone share this opinion?

Well, she is a very ambitious and competitive person. But one thing I think she has few of is friends because of her poor people skills. When she gets in a bind (like a couple of years ago) she really doesn't have anyone to defend her except highly paid lawyers. And the folks that do try to vouch for her character probably do it becuause they are a bit scared of the consequences if they don't. Retribution Martha style. Folks like this can become quite successful in life. One really doesn't need a whole lot of friends to make alot of money. Just alot of determination and ingenuity. But again, the problem is that when those folks get themselves into hot water, they are usually left stranded. Martha's poor speaking style on her show probably becomes much worse once the camera is off.
Yes - I agree. She doesn't seem to know what to say....Her guests are more entertaining. Martha seems awkward!
I enjoy Martha. She has really 'rose' in her career, status,
and wealth.

she, like many people, worked her tail off to get to where she is today. (just read!) She went through a bad divorce, raising a child, and went into catering. She really did the work to get recognition for her efforts, HOWEVER, when people get FAME and FORTUNE, they have a bunch of kiss a**es who dote on their every word HOPING that they will be taken along for the ride. Big Heads With Big Ego's, and they forgot how to be humble!! I can build my own kitchen table and benches faster than she could ever think of doing, I don't care how to make a tea cozy!!!! She went from practical, to Hollywood!!!!
Yes, and she was horrible on the Apprentice she tried to do, too.
I got the feeling she couldn't hold a normal conversation with someone who wasn't just nodding to her every word to suck up.
Fame and fortune did not do Martha any favors in life. Her own daughter wouldn't let her throw a wedding for her, what does that tell you??? Alexis got married at a justice of the peace!
