okay i'm making a menu for a little brunch thing i'm having...for fathers day any way it looks like this
menu item $5.60
menu item $2.30
menu item $6.50
menu item $5.23
but the prices are not coming out line up anyone know how to make them even???

just put a table in the document
Making a menu is better done in microsoft publisher so i u have it, use it, but if u dont, highlight the text, then hold down the ctrl key and press E..hope it helps
Are you using the "Tab" key? Don't use your space bar.
Set up your tab on the top bar, try this site for help;

try using the Micrsoft Excel program. it has all your tables lined out and all you need to do is type and space the wording out according to your specifications.
