I will be turning 30 on Dec. 31st this year and was wondering what kind of ideas some of you can give me to help celebrate it. I know with it being a big day for folks, but I really want to spend time with my family and friends. I never really got to celebrate my birthday cause everyone had something going on and I am wanting to plan something soon. This way I can get it out to my family and friends in advance. This way the suckers can't forget about me again.

How about black balloons, plates, cups, napkins, decorations. You have just left the best years of your life, the twenty's. Line the room with pictures of the first twenty years of your life. Try to get pictures of everyone there, that was in your life within the last twenty years. They'll all enjoy looking at themselves too. Decorate with anything you have kept through the years.
Cool , my sister is having her b-day too! Have your day with your family and plan a birthday party for sometime in the new year.
Have a big dress-up party, but call it a masquerade ball to get people intrigued. Have punch and hors d'eouvres and plenty of booze. That would be fun.
Get you friends and family to take you abroad somewhere.

Have a costume party on the 31st. Have everyone come dressed as their favorite decade. Hire a DJ or band and do it up right. Make sure you have DD's though the cops will be out in full force that night.
have a bday new year bash... make sure there is a tv for the sports... and tons of liquor and places to sleep... i think u should have gotten the invites out a few weeks ago, but now should still be ok...
make sure u let them know its a bday new year bash.. try to do the dj thing also... u know
this will make ppl more happy to not be at a "fancy" bday on the first partynight of the year
