She won't care what you are wearing, just as long as you show up. At that age, you can make a lasting impression by going along with her 'party'. Very nice of you to go. Something she will remember about you.

Those are some of my best memories from my childhood --- my formal tea parties and the guests who attended! It has always been a big deal for most of the girls in my family. I think it was the tea parties when I was little that made the the fantastic hostess and party planner that I am now.

Uncle- Wear nice khaki or seersucker shorts or pants with a nice polo in a spring blue or pink . .
Definetly bring a special little prize besides the main present you are bringing there. Like a little tiara you send over the day before.
