-ipod
-nintendo ds lite
-a video game to whatever he/she has
-gift cards to malls, movie theater packets, starbucks/jamba juice cards, etc.
-some cute clothes is always nice
-her/hsi favorite movies
-cool music
-their favorite board game or game in general

You should blow up a picture of both of you and put it in a cute frame that says friends. Get her a acute shirt or cute earrings. Maybe a gift certificate for the movies.
when I was 12 I'd get my friends random little things like starburst lip gloss and a necklace. or a poster of her favorite band/actor/model. And balloons! you cant go wrong with a bunch of balloons that say happy birthday...
