This shouldn't be that troubling for someone in 3rd grade... if she spends her entire days thinking about him and constantly worries about what to say then she probably has a problem! 3rd graders shouldn't ever have stress!

please tell her not to tell him she likes him he will turn on her..my little one did that and that little boy was mean to her all the time...So just tell her to be cool..and watch him and let him take the lead..

like as in a new friend? nothing wrong with girls and boys who like each other, they can become better friends helping each other with homework, play games, sports, keep it innocent because that's what a third grader is, don't make more of it then it is, and please don't suggest adult situations because they are not adults let them be friends and suggest games or activities that suit their age.tell her to think of him as a friend and build a friendship!
