I have a chocolate fountain I am using for an upcoming party - need ideas for different items to dip ...

Answer:
You can really dip almost anything anymore. If you want a fruit themed dessert, go for orange slices, bananas, strawberries, cherries, etc. You can also use marshmallows, pretzels, oreos, and cookies. Really anything that you can think of would be a great item to dip! Good luck.
Cream corn
Jumbo size marshmallows work really well, as do strawberries.
Strawberries, crackers, marshmallows.

Other berries and fruits.

Make sure to have something to skewer and hold the items for dipping. chocolate is messy.
Strawberries, candied orange slices, cookies/wafers, angel food cubes, brittle, marshmellows, banana pieces, brownies, etc
My friends and I do Choc. Fondue and we love angle food cake which is sooooo good dipped in choc because it acts as a sponge, we also love strawberries, pretzels, bannannas, etc.
banana's, strawberries, mangos, fresh pineapples, graham crackers, sugar cookies, peanut butter cookies (Yum!), marshmellows, pretzels.

Just make sure whatever it is, it isn't too crumby and pieces will fall into the fountain, that will clog it.

I'd dip anything into chocolate myself....anything goes. My husband suggested cheddar cheese....but that's just weird.

Really, anything works
Cubes of poundcake, bananas, strawberries, apples, kiwi, dried whole apricots, pretzel logs, brownie chunks, potato chips (plain), oreos, vanilla wafers, sweet orange segments (like navel)...hope that inspires you!
