Hey everyone,
I'm hosting a dinner party on Saturday (it is now Wednesday) and I'm having a hard time finding parfait dishes! I'm in the Toronto area - does anyone know of anywhere that sells them? (and not for an arm and a leg?!) I can't believe how hard it's been to find them! amazon.com has them, but of course amazon.ca does not ... very frustrating. Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you!

Answer:
Margarita glasses make perfect parfait classes. You could also use Hurricane glasses, or even Martini glasses. If you have a Pier One, Bed Bath and Beyond, Linens and Things, Kohl's, or maybe even Target. You can usually by them by the box, in 4's or 6's.
I don't really know what a parfait glass is.

Could you borrow some spare wine glasses for the day?
Do you have a store like Crate & Barrell or Pottery Barn??
maybe orentental trading has some cool ones
How about Party America? I don't know what exactly that it is you're looking for, but the party store has lots of cups and things for desserts.
If you can't find them by Saturday, why not be a little different and serve your parfaits in coffee cups? Goes down a treat, especially if the top layer looks like the top of a cappuccino (whipped cream -- dust with cocoa powder)!
Believe it or not - places like Dollar Tree, Dollar General and Big Lots have them - and they are cheap.

Another suggestion would be to go to a restaurant supply store - they will definitely have them.
