Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Need help with planning bbq?),it will help you,my kids.

im planning on having a bbq next month at my house. Probably be about 20-30 people there. Im thinking of making hamburgers, potato salad (have an awesome recipe), and grilled bananas foster, with long island ice teas.
I need a good recipe for hamburgers!
What are some other things i can ask guests to bring?
If im supplying long island ice tea, should i also have beer as an alternative?

Thanks!

Answers:
Make large burger patties with 80% beef, and coat them lightly on both sides with Seged worlds best Steak Rub, or Montreal Steak Seasoning mixed with a little Paprika.

Make sure you have plenty of onions, lettuce, tomatoes.

Get an old baking pan, and make bacon on the grill for the burgers, if religions allow.

Ask guests to bring beer. Do not supply all of it. everyone's taste in beer is so varied these days. Buy some Coors Light, and if anyone wants to dring anything else, thay can bring enough to share.

Suggest to bring garden salad, ambrosia (a fruit salad), maybe a kielbasa, or sausage to grill. Tortellinni salad (big on the east coast), seven layer dip, or something else that is hot and spicy like chips and salsa or hot pickled peppers.

Cover all the tastes, sweet, sour, pungent, salt and bitter.

Other Answers:
Sounds great! I would have beer definately. A lot of people prefer it over liquor. I would ask the guests to bring non-alcoholic drinks and maybe some snacks.(chips,dips,etc.) I hope you have fun!

One thing you could try for the hamburgers is making two thin patties, then stuffing something in between them and putting them together. So you have these stuffed hamburgers. Some things to try: blue cheese crumbles or sauteed mushrooms and onions.

I would ask guests to bring sodas or any other nonalcoholic drink they like. And a lot of people think it's not a BBQ if you don't have beer. get a keg, have a nice selection of hamburger toppings, serve mojitos instead of long island's, ask guests to bring a recipe for a unique drink and to bring the liquor needed to make it
