Kitty said: Yes.On tipping, how much do you tip?-I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(On tipping, how much do you tip?),it will help you,my kids.
Do yourealize you give to the poor when you tip, so raise it up. They only make 2.15 per hour and have to claim 10 percent on taxes.
Some of them are single moms with kids who need to eat, some are poor college students struggling and some poor helping their family out.
Answers:
When I was a bit younger, I had a boyfriend who tipped very well. I ended up taking after him on it. I usually tip 15% for your regular service. I have tipped over 50% if I see someone doing extremely well, if they're pregnant, or someone else is being a bugger to them. Take Care :)
Other Answers:
we usually tip 15 to 20 % of the bill... more if its a large party and the service is good
When dining, standard is 15% - I usually tip 20%.
Cab drivers, I usually give $1 in addition to the change, unless the change is close to $1.
Bartenders - $1 per drink, unless it's busy - then I'll tip extremely generously, in view, in the hopes that he'll prioritize my drinks everytime I have to fight my way up to the bar. (works a good chunk of the time.)
If the service is well worth it, I get quite generous. I also admit that at most times it is :) I usually tip at least 20% sometimes more. Many times I go out just for coffee and give $1 tip and thats well over 20%.
15 to 20% depending on our total bill. :)
I usually tip 10-15%. In some places service charges are already added. I usually tip 15 to 20 % for food services if it isn't already included in the bill.
The standard tip is 15 to 20 percent. I remember an old friend of my moms who used to be a waitress that once told me tip the most in the morning. The breakfast rush is the busiest of the day.
We usually give 20%, sometimes a little more depending. And we are by no means wealthy I mean we live week to week like alot of others, but understand inflation. They say that 15% is standard, but I think that is horrible! I will always tip at least 20%. I used to work in the restaraunt/bar industry; and most of the time if the slow service, or the food is messed up it is not the server's/bartenders fault! I will always tip AT LEAST $2 at lunch or breakfast per person; servers work just as hard, if not harder at lunch. Tipping at a bar, should be at least $1 per drink, and if it is busy, it is best to be a better tipper! People remember when they are treated well, and they will give better service!
15% is only a number. Count your blessings.
