Both my boys LOVE homemade mac & cheese...cheap to make,too. Cook up some elbow macoroni, drain, add slices or chunks of American cheese and/or cheddar cheese, a little milk, salt... There are many recipes online for homemade mac and cheese. I've never seen a kid that visits here that doesn't like it!
One thing that was not mentioned that is my kids favorite is Tomato soup and grilled cheese.

little chicken tenders shaped like dinosaurs
All that is listed above.I also find that kids love to eat any meal from a fast food restaurant.I know it's not healthy all the time so just once on the weekend they get to choose.
