I work for several vets and they all say you should never give dogs human food. If you never give it to them the first time --they never beg for it cause they don't know what it is.
However I do give my dogs little bits of my table scraps cause they seem to really enjoy them and they are getting old and haved always been healthy. I always give them steak and porkchop bones--but NEVER give them chicken bones--The slivers can choke them and mess up their stomach lining or their intestines. Ed

Dark Chocolate--Purple onions--Grapes are definetly NO-NO's for dogs. Grapes will mess up their kidneys Dark chocolate is poision to them and so is purple onions.
i have 2 black labs and they were raised on taco bell, burger king. and table food i say yes it want hurt them they love chocolate
yes, we had a poodle for 14 years and EVERYDAY for those days he had 2 cheeseburgers from burger king for dinner...he died of old age not a coranary
PSHHH NO...ANYTIME MY DOG DOES THA BEGGING FACE I HIT HIM ON THE BUTT WITH A NEWS PAPER AND PUT HIM OUTSIDE. I TRAIN HIM NOT TO DO THAT BECUZ THATS ANNOYING
In moderation it's good to give your dog some of yours!
