dude, just be happy that you can drink at 18. This 21 thing here in the US is killing me. At least Canada is nearby. There's so much more sanity and freedom in Canada.
The law is you cannot buy alcohol under the age of 18 but also it is the stores/bars choice whether they want to raise the age or not.
They are perfectly legal in refusing to serve you alcohol
hon... you take a chance of gettin 'severed' at most any bar..UK or US!!!
Because due to the new licensing laws that have some inot power, alot of supermarkets are adopting a 'Think 21' policy where they are choosing to be more vigilant and avoid underage people getting served so are only selling to over 21's.
I don't think it's part of the law as you can still get served in off licences, it's just their choice unfortunately
