Want to cook/bar-b-q ourselves. Looking for easy ideas .

Answers:
Make your own kabobs. Lay out all the ingredients... marinated beef or chicken cubes, prawns, cherry tomatoes, onion, green pepper, fresh pineapple chunks, mushrooms... and let everyone skewer whatever they want. Within reason. ;-)

Other Answers:

Pizza, Hot Dogs & Wing Dings are the big on the teen list. Trust me I always have teens over(I have two teen boys 16,17)

marinated boneless chicken, salt potatoes and corn on the cob burgers, hot dogs, chicken breast, grilled veggies
ice tea, coke,Pepsi, kool aid ,,,,, or order pizza

pizza, ice-cream, hot-dogs, hamburgers, chicken BBQ pizza

pick a theme for your party and work around that then make it buffet style of your guests fav. foods.

I just had 15 teenages last weekend and made them slider burgers and kosher hot dogs. The dogs were a great hit. I also included chips, fresh fruit salad, and baked beans. They ate great.

personal If this is going to be a party where everyone will sit down at the same time, I would suggest spaghetti, it's simple enough, very filling, and most teenagers have no problem eating it.

However, if you're having the party outside, around a pool for example, something more informal, grilled hamburgers/hotdogs for example, are always a big hit.

start off with six cases of beer and three cases of red bull a pack of hot dogs and buns and a few bags of chips and when the chips are gone go get more beer, remember don't cook the hot dogs either hot dogs, corn on cobb, baked beans, macaroni salad, potato salad, hamburgers
and my kids love pizza off of the grill. what i do is buy a loaf of itilan bread from the grocery store(pre-made, or french bread, or any kind like that) slice it down the middle to make 2 pieces then cut it into big squares. i also buy pepperoni, cheese, banana peppers, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, and olives, pizza sauce...ect..
set it up like a buffet, let the kids top their own pizza then through it on the grill till the bread is nice and crusty(crispy) and cheese is melted.
chips, dips

I would say have a lot of pizza with teenagers involved or you could just stick to the regular hot dogs and hamburgers.
