It's an exuse for the men to men. Steaks, martinis, a few toasts and maybe some cognacs. Cigars if it's that kind of place. Then stop by whatever bar after to loosen things up a bit. People will probably buy the groom a few plus it will be cheaper to drink there instead of a steak place. Just stay a while then retire to someones deck, loosen up, take the coats off and drink more and break out cigars. Everbody is then in one place and not driving.

Depending on where you live, my bf's friend got a party bus and went into the city. Just google party bus. It's like a having a club in a bus and you can get a stripper also. If you live by NYC, some busses can get you VIP into some clubs. Great bachelor party idea: take the whole group to a local health club and have a great workout session, followed by organic smoothies and herbal tea. Then you can have a buddhist monk join the group and lead you all in meditation and chanting to wish the groom good wedding karma.
