Not be boring.
Blow ballons up and let them go get lots of coffe and hot chocolate
How about getting everyone to bake cookies or bake a cake and decorate it? I mean, if the party is for people in their 20's, they would definitely be responsible enough to bake. And if you are lucky somebody might start a flour fight. ;)
Have everyone learn to do the Charleston (a dance from the 20's that anyone can do).
Have silent movies going in the background and have people make up the dialogue.

In the entrance of the party room give a paper to all the persons coming to the party and write a activity like jokes....etc.and make them to do it in the party.it should be interesting................
