we are having a slumber party tommorrow night and i was wondering what some ideas of what to do?all girls
Answer:
well rent them some chick movies age appropriate of course . Let them roll their hair ,do facials and just let them have fun and leave plenty of food out . but absoloutly make them help you clean up . good luck .
You could do a spa night. Have them take turns painting each other's toenails and such.
Or maybe a beading party to make bracelets. You can buy those kits at hobby places.
invite boys and meet new peeps on myspace
nothing stupid though
Makeup party! better yet, make up and snack party. Make ur own food and just have fun with each other!
do a mini beauty pagaent. let the girls dress up and do their hair and makeup all pretty and fun. then let them walk around the house like a runway. it's an easy way for the girls to have fun.
movie's twister at dark flashlight tag w/ a adult game's karoke
Home made pizza..you do the dough in your bread machine and they top individual pizzas with their favorite stuff and bake them.
How about a treasure hunt? You hide "clues" or maps and they have to follow clues to get to the next clue. Keep the clues a little mysterious so they have to figure it out. Keep it confined to the house and yard. Have gag type prizes for the team that finds their "treasure" first.
Go caroling in the neighborhood. Just like Christmas caroling but with different songs. Patriotic songs, maybe... print the words off on little song books.
Have them make a cool box of pictures, notes, drawings and cards to send to your local Army National Guard unit, overseas.
If any of the girls are scouts, you could do some badge work..look in their handbook for something fun and inexpensive. Even if they aren't scouts, the activity would be fun and might get them to think about becoming a scout.
Have fun!
Have your daughter pick a movie she knows everyone will want to see - then make a theme around that movie! For instance, maybe she picks the movie "13 Going on 30" with Jennifer Garner (a very cute movie for that age group btw). So...the storyline in that is all about fashion. Maybe you could do a fashion show - where each girl brings like bags of clothes, the sillier the better - then they could do a big fashion show. Makeup is always fun too but you have to be careful they don't make a huge mess. Just be sure any alcohol in your home is secure so they can't get into it. That age group is just starting to get mischievious and curious about such things.
Goodluck
1.) Karaoke night! If you have a playstation 2 or x-box, you can rent a game for them to sing along to. Or have them all pick out their favorite cd and bring it along, and then they could sing along to it. Or you could have them pick some songs, and then have a dance competition for the songs they've chosen. Give out prizes to everyone, though, so no ones' feelings get hurt.
2.) Make overs- I know this sounds cliche, but jazz it up. You could let them put in some hair dye (the washable kind, of course), put on fake tatoos, etc.
3.) "Make it and take it"- look up some DIY recipes for making your own lip gloss and body glitter. They can make it, color it, and scent it whatever they want, and then keep it as party favors.
4.) Wardrobe make over- Buy some fabric paint and pens, some tye-dye supplies, or look up online how to refashion an old t-shirt. Then have each girl bring along a shirt to make-over.
5.) Cookie baking- Mix up a big batch of sugar cookie dough, and then have tons of different mix-ins, so that each girl can put together her own personalized flavor cookie. Include things like nuts, raisins, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, butterscotch chips, m&m's, reeses pieces, sprinkles, coconut, etc. Or do the same thing, but with icecream sundays. Then pick out a movie or game to play while you enjoy the treats.
6.) Fun in the dark- Do shadow puppets, play flashlight tag, and buy some glow in the dark paint, beads, and other accesories, and do a craft that will glow in the dark.
7.) Assorted fun- Do things like blow bubbles, play with sparklers (outside with adult supervision, of course) and glow sticks, color, make friendship bracelets, play with clay, etc.
I bought a Mystery party game, They all had so much fun role playing! After they were done with the one I bought they all wrote another on their own. We video taped it and watched it later. We were all laughing so hard! They even had commercials!
Have all your favourite foods!
Another time my girls a a few friends did the "Doperah
Winfrey Show" and they video taped it. Each person was a different guest.
