learn how to type...u can use salsa, but maybe u should mention what ur putting it on!
u can sour ur own fresh cream with a few drops of lemon juice

or you could use natural yoghurt or crem fresche

It depends on what you're making. You can try plain yogurt. That's the closest thing I can think of. Hope that this helps.
If you are looking for a dairy-free alternative to sour cream, try Tofutti "Better than Sour Cream" or Tofutti "Sour Supreme". Note: The second one contains hydrogenated oils a.k.a. trans fats. Trader Joe's also has their own dairy free version of sour cream.

Buttermilk Sour Cream
Makes about 1 3/4 cups

2 cups low-fat Organic Valley buttermilk
4 roasted garlic cloves
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

1. In a double boiler, combine the buttermilk and garlic. Cook over simmering water, without stirring, for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the milk solids curdle in the center of the pan and leave a ring of watery liquid around the rim.
2. Strain and discard the watery liquid. Transfer the curdled milk to a blender or food processor. Puree until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Use now or cover and refrigerate for up to 4 days. Use as you would sour cream. If necessary for a recipe, reheat gently without boiling.

In France, they use cream and a few drops of white wine vinegar.
Depending on the seasonings of your recipe, you could use plain yogurt so you don't overpower the other seasonings. You could also use plain mayo or even ranch dressing. Ranch or mayo are good if you want to add some zing!
